Igor Oliveira

Igor Soares de Oliveira holds a degree in Information Systems from University Estácio de Sá, where he participated in a Scientific Initiation project aimed at applying Gamification as a strategy for logical reasoning activities targeted at learners facing difficulties in their studies. During his undergraduate program, Igor was recognized as the Best Student of the Class, an award granted by the course coordination in recognition of his academic performance. Subsequently, he completed a postgraduate degree in Software Engineering at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), where he was distinguished as an MVP Highlight by the university. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the same institution, with research areas including Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and Code Quality. As a Software Engineer at Stone, in the financial sector, Igor has developed applications related to financial adjustments, directly impacting the business of clients who requested corrections in transactions. He is currently working in the Accounts Receivable area, focusing on providing a corporate view of the amounts the company expects to receive from completed transactions. His work encompasses distributed software architecture, legacy project maintenance, bug fixing, user story refinement, and ensuring the scalability and resilience of applications. Igor also contributes by mentoring team members and assisting in decision-making processes related to applications.
